Thornhill Arts is a group of art professionals, amateurs and creative volunteers working in mid-Nithsdale, Dumfrieshire, Scotland. This Summer, artists from the group are exhibiting their work at Thomas Tosh's gallery space at 19 East Morton St., Thornhill, dumfriesshire, DG3 5LZ.

Thomas Tosh’s gallery is a blaze of local talent at the moment. It’s the Thornhill Arts Competition, and the prize results of the categories are being announced this coming Saturday, 28th July at 3pm. Please join us for the awards at Thomas Tosh in the old Parish Hall, DG3 5LZ. Much respected local artist Jane Blair was the judge. And she will be with us to award the prizes. And the 28th is the last day to see the exhibition if you haven’t already.

Thornhill Arts is curarting a series of exhibitions at Thomas Tosh in Thornhill, Dumfriesshire, over the summer. 

First off, Ed Slater, Brenda Sillars and Kathleen Woods are showing their work in the upstairs gallery. Their exhibition runs until the 14th July.

Then there is the Thornhill Arts Summer Competition that takes us to the end of July. The walls of the gallery of Thomas Tosh will be taken over by practising and budding artists. It’s the local equivalent of a Royal Academy show.
